Below are a few questions I would like for you to ask yourself:
- At what point do you know that the vision God has given to you is real?
- Are you always thinking about it?
- Are you seeking ways to improve it?
- Does everything else seem to center around it?
- Is God continually instructing you on what to do with it?
- Do you believe God will allow you to finish it?
There are probably more questions to ask but without having the passion God has given to you nothing else matters.
The word passion has many meanings one of which is an intense desire or enthusiasm for something.
What is driving you to do what you do?
Passion has a way of forcing you to make decisions when you do not understand but you know it seems right.
Passion has a way of keeping your dream alive when you think all is dead or people are telling you to forget it.
Passion has a way of becoming the center of a conversation.
Passion has a way of letting you know that without God there is nothing.
Passion has a way of letting you know that with God all things are possible.
You see that intense desire is what you have when you have made Jesus the Lord of your life.
You can’t truly be passionate about what God has given to you if you have not made Him the Center of your life.
I am passionate about what God has given to me because without Him I would have nothing. You must be passionate about what God has given to you. Do not let anyone steal your dream or desire. God gave it to you! God entrusted you with it! Don’t you know if God gave it to you He will also be with you along the way to completion?
Philippians 1:6 (AMP)
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NASB)
Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
