I recently took a few days to unwind and bask in the Glory of God. I decided to travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to see what God had to say. People have asked why Myrtle Beach? Why not?
Upon arriving in my hotel room I was immediately met with the most beautiful ocean view. As I stood out on the balcony of my room there was beauty everywhere. From that point on I could not stop smiling. I knew God had sent me not only as a writer but also as His photographer. He wanted me to take pictures that would show His Glory.
There were two things I forgot to mention. When I arrived I was told there was a writers’ conference going on and on my last day a photo shoot was taking place. So there I was in the middle of my passions. God was confirming with me that he has called me to be a writer and photographer.
This article is about what I saw and how God ‘s Glory was viewed through the lens of my camera.
Romans 1:20 (NLT)
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Sometimes you have to stop with all of the hustle and bustle. God’s Glory is all around us but unless you stop you will never be able to really see it.
When I decided to get focused that is when I could see the beauty and the majesty of an awesome God. I pointed my camera toward the ocean and clicked. What I saw through the viewfinder blew me away. God was smiling. The clouds had actually formed a smile.
That was it. You can believe what you want but what I know God met me when I needed Him the most. He is always with me and I know He is pleased.
Look up because I know God is smiling at you and He is pleased!Numbers 6:25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
