God has a plan for all of us.
God gave me the title of this article a month ago but I had no idea what it meant. At this same time I was having discussions with my web designer about a new way of producing my newsletter. It meant making changes which I was not too sure about. After going in circles trying new delivery systems for my newsletter, I found myself back at the beginning. My web designer was quite patient with me and I finally admitted I would try it her way. At last I understood what she was trying to tell me. I finally had “Let Go”.
Lately I have been listening to a song by Francesca Battistelli entitled I’m Letting Go. One phrase stood out. “I’m letting go of the life I planned for me”. As I listened to that song over and over and over it became clear that when you truly let go, you are giving God complete control of YOU. When you hold on, you are telling God “NOT YET”.
Let this year be a year of relinquishing your way of doing things and letting God take control of YOU. I’ve had to say goodbye to a long relationship with Constant Contact but as Nikao News International, Inc. continues to grow I must be open to what God wants and where He wants to take me. I have let go and have given God complete control.
There is a quote from James A. Murphy, author of The Waves of Life Quotes and Daily Meditations where he writes “Just for today, smile a little more. Just for today, ask someone how he or she is really doing. Just for today, remember, while some may have it better than you do, there are others whom definitely have it worse than you! Just for today, just let go, just for today…”
Be awesomely, outrageously and tremendously blessed!
