Being Steadfast

Photos - 0345The word steadfast is defined as very devoted or loyal to a person, belief, or cause.

Have you ever wanted to quit? You try to convince yourself that no one would care.

There have been several times in my own life when quitting would have been easier but I knew I had to continue.

I have always had close friends around who constantly encouraged me when I needed it. They were the kind of friends who didn’t take my whimpering. They knew me well enough to tell me the truth. Do you have those types of friends?

I began my writing career in 1995. The title of my 1st article was “Leap of Faith”. Twenty years later I am still writing. I have had so many reasons to throw in the towel but I knew God was with me. My devotion has always been to God. I do what I do because of Him.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do.

People may not understand you.

People may not understand why you do what you do.

Only remember this: God is the reason for everything you do. Remain steadfast in what you do.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (AMP)

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord, knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile it is never wasted or to no purpose.

Be blessed and continue the work God has given to you! Don’t give up!
