I have been listening to a song entitled Even If by MercyMe. Yes, the same MercyMe who wrote I Can Only Imagine. I believe once you hear this song not only with your ears but with your heart, you will understand why the Father loves you so much and why He sent His only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for you and all of us.
Being a Christian is a joy for me. It gives me the opportunity to tell people about our Savior. I love to give people a reminder of who God is. The first thing people should see is your genuine love, not a superficial love.
After hearing the song “Even If” over and over and over again, I realized this song was about my trust in the Lord even if.…. I was praying “Father, I know You know what is best for me so even if things don’t go my way or even if this physical pain won’t go away, my only hope, my only trust is in You alone.”
As I have said in previous posts, our lives should be a reflection of who God is. Telling people about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is not an option but a mandate. God has placed on my heart, to begin with, what God did for all of us:
God gave His only Son to die for us!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
I would love to hear about how God is using you to spread the Gospel. People have asked why do I use the King James Version? People say they don’t understand the King James Version. When I was much younger the KJV was the only version around at least in our home. I would love to go into detail about why I switched or better yet went back to the King James but let me refer you to a book entitled “Look What’s Missing” by David W. Daniels of Chick Publications.
Continue to show God’s Love to everyone you meet!
Be totally and outrageously blessed!
