Being stuck in a traffic jam with an IPhone or any phone, as your source of communication can be dangerous considering you should not be texting or talking on a phone. Since I was not moving, my surroundings began to take on a different look to me and I was compelled to take a picture of what was around me. I saw new construction going up which I had somehow ignored during my previous errands.
One thing stood out and all of a sudden I knew God had placed me here at this particular time. Yes I know God has a sense of humor and He will get His message across to you even if it means sitting in traffic. I took a picture of a building, which was under construction that reflected another building that was also under construction.
In life we always have a tendency to look back on things. What God was showing me was that it was alright to reflect (review or mull over) on things in the past as long as we do not become consumed with the past. He wants us to reflect (send back, or throw back) His holiness, His awesomeness and His light.
I had found myself mulling over things from the past and questioning everything that had happened in my life. It was time for me to stop reflecting and begin reflecting. What about you?
Become that beacon of light for God!
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
