Alone Time With God
Psalm 46:10 (NLT)
Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.
Stop for a moment and look around you. God is everywhere! His Glory can be seen and heard everywhere! Sometimes we must disconnect everything so that we can see and hear God.
God wants us to get quiet and be still. He wants to speak. Are you listening? Can you hear Him?
Stress is now replaced with calm.
Worry is now replaced with faith.
Fear is now replaced with courage.
Tears begin to flow.
Your plans become God’s plans.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God’s love for us is amazing!
John 3:16 (NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:17 (NIV)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
God’s Glory is everywhere!
Romans 1:20 (NIV)
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
God has been there from the beginning.
Genesis 1:1 (NIV)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
The Word has been there from the beginning.
John 1: 1-5 (NIV)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:14 (NIV)
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
That Word is Jesus!
Life can be challenging but with God all things are possible. You are at the beginning of a new life. A life of trust, joy, peace, love, and faith. One thing I definitely know is God will never fail you. He will never disappoint you and He loves YOU!
If you have not done so, take the time to turn your life over to Jesus. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Meditate on the following scriptures:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Every person is a sinner.)
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Our sins have separated us from God.)
Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (God’s love was shown by His Son dying for us.)
Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (God will accept those who believe in His Son.)
