If you answered “yes” to any of these questions you are not alone.
For the past few weeks my Tuesday Bible Study class has been in the book of Joshua. As we studied this book week after week I found myself returning to chapter 1.
The trials that we all have been experiencing have been for one purpose. God wants to let us know that He is with us. On a personal note my trials began in January of this year with various health issues. Then things escalated to outpatient surgery. Things are better now only because God has said in Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
I have taken God at His Word in every situation of my life. Only God can change things. All He asks from us is to be strong and courageous.
God is using all of us to spread His message. We may not like the situations we find ourselves in but God has said that He is with us wherever we go. Use the gifts God has given to you.
The Living Bible has a unique way of saying it. “Yes, be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
I was so excited about this message because I knew God was right there with me. As I began typing I couldn’t help but smile because I knew He wanted to get this message out to the world. We all have something to give. Let God use what you have.
Be strong and courageous! God is with you and don’t you ever forget it!
