How often have you wanted to quit?
How often have you cried wondering if you were doing the right thing?
How often have you asked God “WHY?”
How often have you asked yourself is it worth it?
How often have you asked “is this You Lord?”
So you say to yourself “this is not encouraging at all”.
Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane and knew what was headed His way but He knew it was not His will but the Father’s will.
39 And He came out and proceeded as was His custom to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him. 40 When He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” 41 And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray, 42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.” Luke 22:39-42
Until we let it all go and totally say and mean it, NOT MY WILL FATHER BUT YOUR WILL BE DONE, you will not have peace. You will always have questions about your purpose. You will always have doubt about God working in your life. You will find it easier to quit than keep going on.
Below is my prayer to the Father:
Father not my will but Your will be done. Forgive me for my unbelief. Father I release it all to You because I want Your will to be done in my life. In the Name of Jesus I give it all to You.
NOT MY WILL FATHER BUT YOUR WILL BE DONE!
