Start Where You Are
How often have you thought about doing something so great that you literally talked yourself out of it? You convinced yourself that you did not have the resources or you did not have enough training or money. What did God say?
Philippians 4 (NKJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Twenty years ago I published an article for Nikao News International entitled God Knows Your Tomorrow. Publishing in those days meant typing, formatting, taking to copier and distributing. In other words “doing it yourself”. I had a mailing list so I would place the labels on each folded newsletter and go to the post office to mail to my subscribers.
What I am trying to get across is what I wrote in that article:
One thing we must all realize is that our tomorrows have already been planned by God. That’s why Jesus emphatically stated three times in Matthew 6:25-34 “Take no thought”.
Matthew 6:25, 31, 34 (KJV)
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Start where you are, use the abilities God has given to you, and never stop believing.
