Have you ever felt as if things were closing all around you and there was no way out? You knew there was no resolution to the problem except a miracle coming from God. This is when you finally find out what you are made of. A dear friend of mine talked about her ordeal after a tragic accident in the home, which caused her to come out of the fire saying, “yet will I trust thee.”  She did not know how the bills would be paid but she chose to trust God.

This friend who had all odds stacked against her came through her ordeal more determined than ever to spread the Word of God because she chose to trust God.

She amazed the doctors when she started walking months before she was supposed to get out of bed. Her bills dwindled down to zero.

I found myself in a situation trying to believe God for a miracle but doubting that anything would happen. That’s when I was forced to take a deeper look inside myself. (Watch out when you do that!)

Let me give you a brief background that may explain my faith logic. Before happily retiring,  I worked in the computer software development industry. This required the use of logic. For instance, the expression “IF……THEN……ELSE”  would always give a result. I had become a logical thinking Christian.  IF God did this for me, THEN I could do that for God,  ELSE I’ll do it myself.

The ELSE showed my lack of faith. The ELSE brought to light where my faith was. My faith was in my own abilities. OUCH!!

As I wrote earlier I found myself trying to believe God for a miracle but to make it short I found myself trying to believe God and even shorter believing God.

Because of my lack of faith, I was forced to deal with some issues which I had tucked away in my heart.

God speaks to us through His Word! God had me to look around at His Creation. He asked me if I doubted the changing of the seasons or foliage?  I did not doubt it. I just knew it would happen.

I finally understood! God had gotten through to me! How do I know that God will handle all things? I JUST KNOW IT!

God is able!

Ephesians 3:13-21 (kjv) Paul’s Prayer

13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Yes, I Will Trust You Father!
