In today’s climate, it does not take much for someone to become offended by the words we speak. As we begin a new year, remember to watch your words.

What should we do? What should we say?

Pray and ask the Father for wisdom. Below is a scripture from an article I wrote entitled Words:

Psalms 141:3 (ESV)

Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!

Have you asked God to guard your “mouth” while on various social media?  I was told that without using social media my blogs would never be seen by “others”.  My trust is in God, not social media. His message will get out with or without social media.

The one thing I will never doubt is God’s sovereignty.

God has given us His Words.

Psalms 19:14 (KJV)

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

As we forge ahead into 2019 stay focused on what is really important.

Take a break.

Enjoy those around you.

Spread the Gospel. Talk to people. Use that special gift God has given to you for sharing His Word.

For those who are looking for answers, I suggest opening your Bible.  The answers you are looking for will be found throughout the pages of His Word.   Get into a good church that teaches from the Bible and not from the newspaper or television.  YOU, get busy spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  What is the Gospel?  It is the Good News of Jesus Christ!  If you need a starting point, send an email with your name and mailing address to the email address below. I will send a few things to help you get started in declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
