The Importance of Having Faith

Each day we are faced with challenges in our lives which cause us to believe God or not. Why do I say that? We are all faced with things that will determine our next step of faith but what about the options facing us? Will those options cause us to turn away from God? Will those options cause us to lose faith in God?

Option # 1: Believe God.

Hebrews 11:6 – But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (kjv)

Option # 2: Trust God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (kjv)

Our daily walk with God should be that of faith, trust, love, forgiveness, prayer, and etc.  Others should see something different about us.  Sunday mornings should not be the only time we open our bibles. We are to be ready for any situation in our lives. Why do I say that?

We are here on this planet to spread the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. I get excited when I prepare for the unknown.  I have my tracts and other items ready to give out because you never know who you may meet. If possible have bibles ready to give to anyone who needs one.

With everything going on in America and around the world, people have become fearful. The Coronavirus has become front and center.

Do you stop talking about Jesus?

Do you become a hermit and stop speaking to anyone?

OR

Do you prepare for battle?

There are ways to get the Gospel out.  Facebook is one of the most popular.  If you are on Facebook, post things about Jesus to encourage people. Use this platform to get the Gospel out.

A few others are YouTube, Twitter, and Gab.

You must realize that Social Media is a great way of spreading the Gospel and not spreading gossip. I was on Facebook where I had a page to display my photographs with scriptures. After awhile Facebook thought I should describe my page as a “Religious Center”. I said “NO”. After much prayer, I decided Facebook was not for me.

One last thing we can all do is pray. We can help those who are on the frontline daily spreading God’s Word. Who are they? They are the frontline workers around the world known as The Voice of the Martyrs.

The best place to get tracts is at Chick Publications. This site is my “GO TO” for tracts and books and etc.

REMEMBER:

2 Timothy 1:7 –  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (kjv)

Get your gear and get going!

Be totally blessed!
